On behalf of the Department for Education (DfE), Entrust are pleased to bring you a series of fully funded webinars that are free of charge to your school.

Throughout the series of six webinars, we’ll be focusing upon School Resource Management and Integrated Curriculum Financial Planning – a tool that links curriculum and financial planning. By attending these short courses, you will help your school deliver the best curriculum possible, achieving educational success and financial sustainability.

This series is aimed at School Business Professionals, Head Teachers, the Senior Leadership Team, Curriculum Leads, Governors and Trustees at both maintained schools and academies.

You can register for as many or as few webinars as you choose but we strongly advise you join all six, so you gain a full understanding of School Resource Management and how to successfully implement it in your school. Webinars will be delivered live so you can ask questions along the way and interact with the session.

Introduction to Benchmarking
Duration: 1 hour
This webinar includes an introduction to and the benefits of benchmarking, a walkthrough of the DfE Benchmarking website and other free DfE tools. There will be some best practice tips including what makes a good comparison school, and what to do with the information once it has been derived.
ICFP Using DfE Tools
Duration: 1 hour
This webinar will cover tools which are available for free on the DfE website. These tools include the primary and secondary school ICFP workbook and the School Resource Management tool. We will explore some ways in which schools can use these tools to introduce ICFP in their schools.
ICFP Metrics Deep Dive
Duration: 1 hour
This webinar will include a review of the key metrics identified by the 'Introduction to ICFP' webinar, before introducing additional metrics. The webinar will outline what these metrics mean and how they can be calculated. Finally, we will explore how these insights can be used to provide practical benefits.
Introduction to Procurement
Duration: 1 hour
This webinar will help to develop your understanding of compliance with EU & UK procurement law. We will focus upon school procurement and related financial regulations. We will then explore how these should be integrated into local school procedures to mitigate the risks of fraud, theft, bribery, corruption or loss.
Joined up Leadership for Effective School Resource Management
Duration: 1 hour
This webinar covers building relationships with SLT and having strategic input into the School Improvement Plan ensuring financial viability and sustainability. We will define the roles and responsibilities of key personnel, how they should integrate and collaborate and the problems faced if SBPs are not fully integrated with the SLT.
ICFP During Times of Uncertainty
Duration: 1 hour
This webinar will look at the potential impact from an ICFP point of view on reducing income, staff absences, and differences in class sizes. We will go through a completed ICFP workbook, looking at some potential changes. We will explore why having an ICFP structure in place can assist a school in quickly working out the effects of the changes.
